Project Background: The Liaohe Oilfield CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) project is a national demonstration project under the "dual carbon" strategy. It provides liquid CO₂ storage and vaporization gas supply for CO₂ flooding of ultra-low permeability reservoirs.
Equipment Configuration: A 150m³ liquid carbon dioxide storage tank with a design pressure of 2.16MPa, working temperature of -20℃, inner vessel made of Q345R + S30408 stainless steel composite plate, and high-vacuum perlite insulation. It is matched with an ambient air vaporizer (vaporization capacity 500Nm³/h) and a pressure reducing skid.
Operating Results: Since it was put into operation in 2024, the tank has processed up to 30 tons of CO₂ per day, providing a stable gas source for enhancing oil recovery and gas production from the ultra-low permeability reservoirs of the Liaohe Oilfield. According to industry data, 23 sets of 100m³ and 50m³ liquid CO₂ cryogenic storage tank skids have been installed on site in domestic CCUS projects, operating stably.
